Pearce back in LF.  Wouldn't they be better off with Martinez in LF, Pearce at 1B and Chavis at DH?

I think they're giving Pearce more chances to break the slump.  Right now he has little value --- now a third 1B.  Maybe a signal that Pearce will be DFA soon, and Chavis juggles three positions.  I don't like jerking around Chavis, as Fred would probably say.

As far as I am concerned Chavis is a better 2nd baseman than Nunez who is a defensive liability at 2nd.

Gotta love the crooked numbers.   Let’s hope E-Rod can bounce back with a shut down inning.

Holy moly! 15-1 in the 5th? Zoiks. Wish I had seen this one from the beginning.

markj

Not that I'm greedy or anything, but bases loaded, one out and nothing to show for it?

markj

Thornburg coming in. I think this game is pretty much Thornburg-proof.

Thornburg in for another inning. Why not. Junk time suits him.
