I checked and Tom Eshelman is not related to the dearly departed Vaughn Eshelman. He has started and appeared in 2 games.

Regular lineup back in tonight. You guys can get off the Tobin Bridge for the evening.

Looking g at this game I am thinking what the good hitting PO teams will do to this pathetic pitching staff.Thats reason enough for me to say why go out even for decent help at the cost of any type of young player.

Some insurance is still needed with this bullpen. But after Porcello gave up the lead this had a good chance of becoming a very disappointing loss. The way the team has responded is encouraging and Martinez coming up with 3 hits hopefully signals a turnaround.
