Sox get on the board early with a couple homers.  Henry Davis is catching for the Bucos.  Back in the draft a couple years ago, Pirates picked Davis in the first round after passing on Marcelo Mayer who was available.

Quote from: longgame on Today at 09:35:50 AMI think Pittsburgh is, or at least used to, claim Charlotte as home territory.  Let's see...

Since they really don't have a team right now I may not watch anyhow.  They need a coach who is the Andrew Bailey of fielding.

Still missing O'Neill, and we get Refsnyder.  He did have 6-7 stitches from the collision with Devers.  I think I read that he broke his sunglasses against his face.  Devers out again.

At least we were happy Wednesday evening after a great performance by Tanner Houck and the defense didn't crash and burn as before.  They waited until today (Thursday) to return to their usual sloppy ways.

7-3 road trip followed by a 3-7 home stand. Isn't supposed to work the other way around?

Sox pitching has done so-so, not Houck good, but enough to keep you in the game.  We're losing the game because of Reyes and Hamiton's sloppy fielding.  3 unearned runs.  The FO needs to address these holes.  Grissom is on rehab for 2B, but he has missed all spring training, and who knows what product he is.

Valdez, Hamilton and Reyes, oh my!  And a bullpen game to boot.  Wong at DH.  O'Neill and Raffy out.  Basically it's Duran and Casas and hope someone else can get a hit.

I saw a stat about it being the shortest game since 2002 or something crazy like that.  It's amazing what you can do when you throw strikes.

The rest of the pitchers should take notice and also maybe keep the ball up so opponents don't hit it to the infielders. 😂😂
