I didn't even realize it was a day game until I just went on Twitter and saw updates.

Sox up 3-0 in the third.

Perez is off the IL so they better score more because he'll probably find his way into this game.

This is what I am talking about.  The sox are in the shift.  So Houck throws pitches to the outside corner and three hits to the opposite field for hits.  If you are going to shift it makes little sense to have pitchers throwing to the outer edge repeatedly.

MongoLikeSox

The Houck management failure woefully continues.

Too bad he could not have picked up some tips for two months from the veterans like other Rookies do. What? He wasn't there?

Yeah, hard to manage a shift when the pitcher is missing his spots.

Sox pick up a run on a wild pitch and now have bases loaded, no outs. They have to get more runs here.

markj

Argh. Devers with an infield hit to force an out at home. JDM just misses a GIDP, so a run scores. Now 5-3, bases still loaded, still one out.

Always nice when the other team goes to the bullpen for a second time in extra innings.
