The Stros are looking like the 18 Sox . No holes GREAT offense with everyone helping out .Loads of power and great SP and a very good pen. And the offense has not seen the good Altuve yet. Gonna be very difficult to be these guys but not impossible.

They're up 8 1/2 in the AL West with all others sub .500.  Twins opening up things in the ALC.

And if we don't make a big move in the AL Est race and start moving up instead of running in place and firing and falling back, then when the Yankees get fully healthy we could be in very deep shit.  Amazing with all their key players out they are winning games with hitting, power hitting, defense and pitching from both ends of the game.  We lose two or three men like Price and Nathan and we seem to sink in the mud.  When the hell is this team really going to wake up and realize they could be in very serious trouble?

Disastrous !st inning.  Vazquez did not position himself properly to get that throw from Bradley hence he dropped the ball.  IMO Vazquez drops a heck of a lot of balls behind the plat

Velasquez is shitty, pure and simple.  He has no business being in  the rotation and the sooner we DFA him and then send him down the better.  He has been totally ineffective since last summer and doesn't belong in the Bigs.  Send the bum back to the Mexican League where he belongs.  I had a bad feeling about how  this shithead would fail to perform today and perhaps this game is already lost.  Hear me Cora, get rid of this crud.

Way to go, Xander. Like the Sox aren't in enough of a hole, he blows a chance to get the lead runner, who is now at 3B.

Sure enough, a sac fly brings him home. Chalk that run up to Bogie.

No focus.  No video games in the clubhouse until these guys play sound  fundamental baseball.

A Velazquez happens when the farm is devoid of anyone who could come up as a spot starter.  That's just one hole.  Lots of wiggle room for Sox IMO, because most of the league is really bad.  However we have to play the Yanks and Rays in another 30 games.

Cora should have challenged Chavis's play and I posted it before Vazquez's homer.

Big chance here with bases juiced and one out. See if Bogie can atone.

Bogie  must have tied one on last night after the game.  He looks like a zombie tonight.

Devers with a mental error.  Boy does this team look discombobulated.

Thornburg got VERY lucky there with the 'Stros screwing up their base running. Amazingly out of that jam.

Moreland with a great stop, but no one to throw it to because Thornburg was sleeping.

Yet another mental error.  This team is sleep walking through this game.  Tell me again why Cora is such a great manager.

Sox go down in order, of course. This team does not look like a contender once they face a team that is a contender.

Let's see now, we've played two of the teams so far this season who we bested in the Playoffs last Fall.  The Yankees have us 2-0 and the Astros likewise with a 3-0 mark waiting to happen tomorrow when the gutless bastards starve Sale for runs and Cora makes another bone-headed mistake and Bogaerts once again fails numerous times to hit in clutch situations and drive in some runs.  When we play the Dodgers in July they will help the Red Sox turn the hat trick in reverse.  This season may be over for us by tomorrow when we get swept.  Even Chris Sale can't help us when we don't hit for him and when the bullpen can't hold a lead, that is, if we even get one.
